Barron Radial Vacuum Trephines
Our Barron radial vacuum trephines are engineered to redefine precision and stability in corneal surgery. Our design incorporates radial suction chambers that ensure seamless accuracy between the outer suction ring and cutting trephine blade. The 16 radial chamber dividers leave a symmetrical pattern on the anterior corneal surface that can be subsequently dried using a cellulose sponge and marked with sterile gentian violet marker to support even suture alignment. Barron’s Radial Vacuum Trephine contains a smooth rotating mechanism that advances the blade 250 microns per full rotation. In addition, the trephine blade barrel contains fine cross-hairs in the visual axis to assist the surgeon with alignment of the trephine on the corneal tissue.
