Barron Artificial Anterior Chamber
Our Barron Artificial Anterior Chamber is a vital tool for corneal graft surgeries. Working seamlessly with the Barron Vacuum Trephine, it allows surgeons to create either lamellar or full penetrating corneal grafts, cutting the donor cornea from the epithelial side. This innovation ensures a cut angle that closely matches the trephine’s, significantly reducing the risk of surgically induced astigmatism. Tailored to hold a 14–18mm diameter scleral rim, it utilizes viscoelastic to shield the delicate endothelium cells. Its striking bright blue color enhances visual contrast for better corneal visualization.
Equipped with two ports and pinch clamps, our Artificial Anterior Chamber infuses viscoelastics, BSS, or air, to emulate the cornea’s natural curvature. Experience precision and safety in your surgical procedures with this indispensable tool!
