Corza Medical employees took to Welsh mountains

On 17th June our Solihull team of Corza Medical UK employees took to the Welsh mountains to climb Mount Snowdon via the Pyg track.

We are so proud to have raised £4271 so far for Orbis UK – an affiliate of Orbis International, an international charity working to make eye care available everywhere, for everyone, so no one has to experience the consequences of avoidable blindness.

Orbis’ mission is to use their amazing network of partners, supporters, staff and sector leading volunteers to empower local communities with the skills and resources necessary to fight blindness on their own. They work alongside eye teams in communities to provide training and guidance to leave a long-term eye care legacy that will restore vision for generations to come.

If you haven’t yet donated, our team appreciate any donations to Orbis UK that you can give, big or small.

We had a fantastic time, along with fantastic weather, completing such a huge challenge. No matter how hard the climb got, we stayed positive and motivated each other to get to the top. Once at the top of the peak, the visibility was poor so we were unable to see the view from the summit. The scenery on our descent was incredible, with bold blue lakes and views for miles. The climb took us a round total of 7 hours plus a lovely ten minute rest at the top before we began our journey down the mountain face back to the coach!
