Greg Lucier is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Corza Medical, a surgical technologies company he founded in partnership with GTCR, a leading private equity firm based in Chicago. With more than $500M in annual revenue and 3,000 employees, Corza provides essential surgical tools and technologies to surgeons, healthcare providers and caregivers worldwide.

Greg’s 35+ years of life sciences leadership with GTCR’s unrivaled track record of creating unique, value-generating private equity opportunities, has positioned Corza Medical as a trusted partner for improving clinical, operational, and financial outcomes across ophthalmology, wound closure, biomedical textiles, and biosurgery.

Prior to Corza, Greg served as Chairman and CEO at NuVasive, a technology leader in minimally invasive spine and orthopedic surgery, that later sold to Globus Medical for $3B+. Prior to that, he was Chairman and CEO at Life Technologies, which he grew into a global life sciences powerhouse with over $4B in sales that was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific for more than $15 billion.

Greg spent the first stage of his career with General Electric—including GE Healthcare—in a variety of corporate officer and executive roles, including ultimately serving as President, Medical Information Technologies.

Greg serves on several public and private company boards, including Dentsply Sirona, Maravai LifeSciences, and Medical Device Components (MDC). He holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
